Bunbury Centrepoint and Stirling's to be combined?
Bunbury Mail, 2014
The owners of Centrepoint shopping mall have bought nearby Stirling's Retail Centre in a deal that may pave the way for the two centres to be combined.
Developer and property syndicator Primewest announced the purchase today, with the 5,800 square foot centre changing hands in a $18.75 million deal brokered by Colliers International.
Colliers International spokesman Mark Werrett said the City of Bunbury is looking to attract a department store into the CBD and the combined centre could provide a desirable site.
Stirling's Retail Centre currently has 26 specialty retail outlets including Best and Less, Priceline and OPSM.
